I bought this tool after hearing about it from a colleague. After watching the video and reading reviews I pulled the trigger. Arrival was quick and tool is solid quality. I have used it to fix my personal car and my mother’s car now, from the usual P2099 underboost fault after confirming no other issues. My concern before using the tool was possible snapping the waste gate rod and causing myself a bigger problem. I can now confidently say after testing it on an old turbo and fixing two personal cars, that you’ll have no problems with this tool. Both vehicles behave much better and have never seen a fault return. I thank the company for the development of this tool as it has saved me a good sum of money.
Turbobend works exactly as described and saved me lots of time and money. In just a few minutes, the tool resolved my underboost fault in my 2011 Audi Q5 and restored full power instantly. I used the tool in July 2024 and if this review is still on YouTube you can trust the fix is still working.
Finding my wastegate loose on my Audi’s turbo I was afraid I needed to replace the whole turbo. Then I found turbo bend and so glad I did, definitely fixed my wastegate and is no longer loose and now I have no loss of boost pressure.
I rented this tool last year. And it works as stated in the video. I was swapping out a bad starter on my 2011 Q5 and that required me to remove the downpipe. After using the tool, I was able to verify that the wastegate was tight again.
I bought this tool on 1/2/25 I believe any ways I got it for the use on 2013 VW cc turbo had an under-boost code. I had to move some stuff out the way used the turbo bender. Work amazing bent the rod with no problems and did not damage the rod at all this a life saver. If you have an under-boost code, get the tool before you go buy a turbo save you a lot of money one of the best tools I bought in a long time
